The Ohio Patrolmen's Benevolent Association (OPBA) has been fighting for those in law enforcement since 1973. The OPBA is adamant in the pursuit of educating Ohio law enforcers on their right to unionize and the many benefits reaped from membership with a strong union. Our dedicated team of seasoned labor attorneys are passionate about the work they do protecting the rights of men and women serving in communities across Ohio. Specializing in this industry, our team understands the nuanced issues and concerns of those in law enforcement and actively works for the betterment of their employment, welfare, and the welfare of their families and the communities they serve.
The OPBA is made up of members across Ohio serving in all areas of law enforcement, as first responders, and other public employees, from deputies, security officers, and park rangers, to dispatchers, EMT's, and nurses. Members can join as individuals or as a group. Those serving in both private and public sectors are eligible to join. We also offer a special membership discount to retirees.
