A Wounded Officer & His Road to Recovery

OPBA member Officer Eric Ney of the Clearcreek Township Police Department was shot while responding to a domestic violence call in July and severely injured. After two lengthy hospital stays and multiple brain surgeries for trauma sustained, Officer Ney finally came home in October and faces a long road to recovery.

OPBA Member Assistance Program
NEW MEMBER BENEFIT The OPBA is very concerned with the mental and physical well being of our members. It is obvious-now more than ever-that job related trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance abuse is an issue that needs to be immediately addressed.
