  • James F. Foster retired as Chief on 1/18/2019 with 37 years of service.

  • Edward A. Spehar retired as a Patrolman on 10/7/2018 with 14 ½ years of service.

  • Everett R. Haworth retired as an Investigator on 1/6/2019 with 32 years of service.

Columbus Regional Airport Authority

  • Guy F. Forberger retired as a Corporal on 3/1/2019 with 30 plus years of service.

Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department

  • Eric Hunter retired as a Corrections Officer on 10/31/2018 with 30 years of service.

Cuyahoga Falls

  • Gary R. Blevins retired as a Sergeant on 1/11/2019 with 33 years of service.  Thanks for your service and enjoy your retirement. 

Fairlawn

  • John D. Riding retired as a Dispatcher on 4/30/2019 with 20 years of service.  

Garfield Heights

  • Philip R. Dickens retired as a Patrolman on 12/17/2018 with 30 plus years of service including 10 years as a Detective and a 19 year member of the Southeast Area Law Enforcement SWAT Unit.  Prior to working for Garfield Heights Patrolman Dickens worked 7 ½ years with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department. 

Hudson

  • Harold Hutzell retired as a Patrolman in February 2019 with 36 years of service.

  • Kaija M. Jeantet retired as a Detective on 4/5/2019 with 25 years of service.

Huron County Sheriff’s Office

  • Patricia S. Reilly retired as a Corrections Officer on 12/31/2018 with 21 years of service.

Lyndhurst

  • Kenneth G. Long retired as a Special Police Officer on 1/1/2019 with 23 plus years of service.

Medina

  • George A. Horton III retired as a Sergeant on 1/6/2019 with 27 years of service.

Medina County Sheriff’s Office

  • Sheila Reynolds retired as a Dispatcher on 9/30/2018 with 20 plus years of service.

  • Charles A. Anna Jr. retired as a Corrections Officer on 10/2/2018 with 20 years of service.

Mentor

  • James C. Collier retired as a Patrol Officer on 1/31/2019 with 30 years of service.

Mentor on the Lake

  • Brent Bramley retired as a Patrolman on 12/28/2018 with 23 years of service.

Monroe

  • Brett A. Kahny retired as a Patrolman on 7/31/2018 with 25 years of service. 

Parma

  • Colleen M. Webb retired as a Dispatcher on 10/30/2018 with 22 years of service.

Portage County Sheriff’s Office

  • Vicky L. Overfield retired as a Dispatcher on 10/31/2018 with 30 years of service. 

Rittman

  • Janice L. Centa retired as a Dispatcher on 12/31/2018 with 23 years of service.

Sebring

  • Joseph A. Richards retired as a Dispatcher on 12/28/2018 with 15 plus years of service.

Solon

  • Bruce Felton retired as a Lieutenant on 1/27/2019 after 28 years with the Solon P.D.  Bruce was involved in numerous public relations functions such as Stuff the Bus, National Night Out, Shop with a Cop, Coffee with a Cop, the Citizens Academy, Citizens Advisory Board and the Solon Rotary Club.  Bruce was also involved with the Special Olympics, participating in the Polar Plunge, The Cop on Top and the Law Enforcement Torch Run which became the movement’s largest public awareness funding for Special Olympics.  Bruce ran the final leg for the Special Olympics hosted in Los Angeles in 2015.  

Stow

  • Anne M. Stirm retired as a Captain on 1/20/2019 with 33 years of service. 

Sylvania Township

  • William M. Tollison retired as a Patrolman on 12/31/2018 with 44 years of service.

Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office

  • Fred H. Raines retired as a Deputy on 12/1/2018 with 25 years of service.

Van Wert

  • Michael D. Freeman retired as a Patrolman on 1/19/2019 with 26 years of service.  Michael began his career as a firefighter/EMT-A with the Van Wert Fire Department.  In January 1996 he was hired by the Van Wert Police Department as a Reserve Officer and was promoted to Full time Office in March of 1996.  

Westlake

  • John R. Bujnovsky retired as a Sergeant on 12/28/2018 with 31 years of service.

Willoughby

  • James Lessick retired as a Patrolman on 2/1/2019 with 32 years of service.

  • Blaine Sweitzer retired as a Lieutenant on 1/29/2019 with 34 plus years of service.

  • Tom Bertone retired as a Detective on 3/1/2019 with 25 plus years of service.

Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office

  • Dwight D. Kramer retired as a Sergeant on 12/20/2018 with 28 ½ years of service.
