Daniel J. Jereb retired as a Lieutenant on 6/1/2016 with 33 years of service with the Brecksville Police Department. Jereb was promoted to Sergeant in 1990. As a Sergeant, Jereb was a patrol supervisor, field training officer and later served as the detective bureau OIC. He also spent many years on SWAT and with the Southwest Enforcement Bureau, leading the east region unit as Commander. Jereb was promoted to Lieutenant on 8/20/2013. He served as the department’s Acting Chief from 12/2014 until 6/2015.
