This year and 2016 mark the highest membership for the OPBA since 2009.  The representation the OPBA provides to its members is second to none and the word continues to spread throughout the state.  The OPBA wants all our members to receive all the benefits they are entitled to.  On page 10 and 11 you will find a list of individuals that we need updated information.  If you see a coworker or friend listed please have them contact the OPBA office.  I have also attached a membership application to this issue for anybody who may need one. Please see page 15.  Please feel free to share the application which can be mailed, emailed or faxed to our office.  See OPBA.com for the OPBA’s contact information.

2017 is an election year for the directors in your department so please visit OPBA.com and click on the Resources link.  Follow the page to Documents found at the bottom where the OPBA’s Constitution and By-Laws can be found.  Article VII instructs your members on the process of electing your Directors.

The OPBA has designed license plate emblems with our new logo.  The emblems are multicolored approximately 2” X 2” and made of acrylic.  These items are available to members ONLY for $10 each which includes shipping.  If you wish to purchase please call or email Trish at 440-237-7900 or tnewcomer@1f4.29c.myftpupload.com.  If you wish to purchase please send a check or money order made payable to the OPBA to our PO Box 338003, North Royalton, OH  44133, Attn:  Trish.  Please include your name, address, phone number and email address so that we can contact you that your items are being shipped.   Thank you to OPBA member Mike Scarpelli of the Vandalia Police Department for spearheading the design and research of the license plate emblem.  **Please review Ohio Revised Code 4503.21, other O.R.C. codes or local ordinances which may apply.
