  • Andrew D. Ziska retired as a Detective on 2/23/2018 with 30 ½ years of service.

  • Justino Agosto retired as a Special Police Officer on 12/1/2017 with 30 years of service.
  • Chuck Hicks retired as a Special Police Officer on 11/1/2017 with 30 years of service.

  • Frank Feazell retired as an Officer on 10/31/2017 with 41 ½ years of service.

  • Thomas J. D’Amico retired as a Corrections Officer on 10/13/2017 with 16 years of service.

Geauga County Sheriff’s Office

  • Juanita M. Vetter retired as a Deputy on 9/29/2017 with 33 years of service.

Lake County Sheriff’s Office

  • Director Christopher Cimperman retired as a Corrections Officer on 9/1/2017 with 31 total years of service.  Officer Cimperman was instrumental in bringing the OPBA to the Lake County Sheriff’s Corrections Division.  He worked hard as a Union OPBA Director during his entire time as an officer, fighting for his co-workers and representing them in times of need for the post posting results and outcomes.  Above all he was highly respected by his division and will be missed.  We thank him for his service.

Lorain County Sheriff’s Office

  • Edwin Cortez retired as a Corrections Officer on 7/31/2017 with 30 years of service.
  • Nicole R. Claubaugh retired as a Corrections Officer on 2/1/2017 with 10 years of service.

Maple Heights

  • Elizabeth C. Reynolds retired as a part time Corrections Officer on 10/4/2017 with 14 ½ years of service.  Elizabeth was also a part time Corrections Officer with the City of Broadview Heights for 5 years.  Mrs. Reynolds was Maple Heights Union Representative for the Correction Staff.  We would like to wish her well and thank her for a job well done!

Medina County Sheriff’s Office

  • Chad B. Meyers retired as a Patrol Sergeant on 10/31/2017 with 25 years of service.

Mentor

  • Martha Ann Eyman retired as a Patrol Officer on 6/9/2017 with 31 years of service.
  • Scott Tkach retired as a Sergeant on 8/13/2017 with 25 years of service.

  • Joseph J. Flores Sr retired as a Patrolman on 7/17/2017 with 25 years of service.

  • Cynthia E. Bennett retired as a Deputy on 7/31/2017 with 21 years of service.

  • J. Stanley Boykin retired as a Ranger on 8/31/2017 with 24 years of service.

  • Russel L. Hunlock retired as Chief on 9/15/2017with 27 years of service.

Warren

  • Janice A. Gilmore retired as a Captain on 8/14/2017 with 28 years of service.  Janice is third generation of law enforcement in her family.  She started with Warren Police Department on 8/4/1989 and achieved the rank of Sergeant in September of 1989.  She then became Lieutenant in December of 2000 and Captain in 2008 ending her career in charge of the Emergency Services Division.  We are the Warren P.D. wish her the best. 

Warren Township

  • Jeffrey R. Smith retired as an Investigator on 7/31/2017 with 25 years of service.

Wauseon

  • Brian W. Courtney retired as a Sergeant on 9/13/2017 with 25 years of service.  Brian started with Wauseon Police Department in 2003, where he was promoted to Sergeant in April 2013.  Brian served as a Patrol Officer, School Resource Officer and Patrol Supervisor.  Brian’s passion was always with patrol, where he excelled as a shift supervisor.  Brian was respected and was a valuable supervisor, where his presence will be missed.  Prior to coming to Wauseon Police Department Brian service 8 ½ years as a K9 Handler with the Ohio State Highway and he was also a veteran with the United States Air Force.
