Troy A. Donaldson retired as a Sergeant on 4/1/2017 with 18 years of service.

Ashland

Steven A. Hoover retired as a Lieutenant on 4/29/2017 with 33 years of service.

Bellefontaine

Roger L. Hager retired as a Police Officer on 5/16/2017 with 24 years of service.

Bellevue

Donald Miller retired as a Sergeant on 6/29/2017 with over 21 years of service. He was hired on January 15, 1996. Sgt Miller is a USMC veteran serving in the gulf war before joining the Bellevue Police Department. During his service at Bellevue he was a training officer, SRT member with Huron County Sheriff’s Office and OPBA local director for our department. In retirement, he will focus on his families’ business and hobbies. Best wishes to you!

Boardman Township

Donald T. Hawkins retired as a Captain on 7/8/2017 with 33 years of service. “Hawk”, a long time ranking officer with the Boardman Police Department, was promoted to Lieutenant on 10/4/2002 and had been a Commander in charge of the Special Operations Division since his promotion to Captain on 4/26/2010. As a Sergeant, he supervised the Detective Bureau’s Juvenile Division and as a Patrolman, he was a member of the departments first ever SWAT Team. Don will continue to serve the Boardman Police Department as a member of its Reserve Police Officer Unit.

Jeff N. Garrison retired as a Sergeant on 4/30/2017 with 30 years of service.

Mark D. Cebron retired as a Chief Dispatcher on 7/31/2017 with 30 years of service.
